Enter boldly or on tiptoe—it makes no difference, since you alone will hear your footsteps and your breathing during this solitary, restorative, perhaps even life-affirming experience, if, at the final doorway, just before your journey ends, you pause to tell yourself that this passage was essential to discovering the greatest purveyors of freedom: the arts in all their forms.
