CHARTER
THE DIAMONT HISTORY GROUP CHARTER
The Creators of Imagination
“A world of openness and sharing to discover the imagination”
This charter aims to define the commitments made by all the actors, “stakeholders or members” of the DIAMONT HISTORY GROUP ALLIANCE Collective
They undertake to respect it and bring it to life.
The charter
The collective
DIAMONT HISTORY GROUP ALLIANCE is also a network of international authors, screenwriters, actors, directors, and creative talents who have come together to form a Collective dedicated to presenting original, unpublished works for cinema to producers. This synergy was initiated by the Diamont History Group Association, the founding body of the Alliance and the organization in charge of relations.
For independent cinema—where originality and creativity remain the source.

Introduction
A collective is not a group of friends getting together to celebrate. A collective is a working body driven by a clear objective: to create group synergy and, as a result, give the collective a visibility its members could not achieve individually.
High standards are required to build a strong brand identity and a reputation that can be recognized and validated through professional relationships (producers, investors, and other financial partners). This is the direction we have chosen, because we are convinced that the future of cinema will be shaped through sharing and the union of vital forces—and will be carried by collectives such as ours.
That is why we present this Quality Charter.
“Cinematic creation and media activity are at the heart of our convictions and motivations.”
Purpose of this Charter
The primary purpose of this Charter is:
-
To support and assist authors and screenwriters in presenting their projects and in connecting with directors, producers, and financiers.
-
To support directors in their creative work and provide them with the means to defend the integrity of the work in all its visual aspects, out of respect for both the audience and the authors.
-
To enable—together with the producer—the identification and implementation of the resources required, compatible with the project’s economic model.
It also means sharing information with members of the collective so they can receive and interpret requests or opportunities that may arise, as well as the meetings and connections necessary for their development within the Collective.
Above all, it is about providing a concrete framework and the skills aligned with it.
Joining the Collective
Joining the collective means choosing to take part in this shared adventure—adding your stone to the group’s foundation—and belonging to a new force through a national, and potentially international, cinematic alliance.
To do so, each member must bring:
-
a project,
-
an idea to be developed,
-
or be considered as a potential contributor/participant in one of these projects.
Membership is open to any skills useful to the collective beyond authors/screenwriters, actors, and directors. Key areas include:
-
On-set technical crew
-
Camera / image technical
-
Sound technical
-
Lighting technical

-
Film makeup
-

-

(This list is not exhaustive.)
It also means relaying information and casting calls within the collective.
Collective Values and Commitments
The notion of a collective implies that each member embraces its values and its commitment to sharing and cultural diversity in cinema and audiovisual creation more broadly.
Supporting the Collective’s projects (even when they are not your own) and sharing information across all circles of influence is what this collective promotes. It is within this synergy that we will all find the means to create. Each member must also share the group’s news on their own social networks.
It also means taking a genuine interest, as much as possible, in the realization of other members’ projects.
Within this synergy, each member may find opportunities to contribute to projects that were not initially intended for them—through their skills, through internal casting, or by offering support such as editing assistance.
It means respecting the values of pooling resources, sharing, mutual support, and solidarity within the collective.
Cinema can be a world of individualism, strong personalities, and oversized egos—qualities that do not reflect the true artistic creativity of this industry. Structure and guidance matter when building a career in cinema. This is precisely what the Diamont History Group collective aims to provide: giving its members a framework and support system, along with tools and essential partners to bring their projects to life. Here, “Unity is strength” takes on its full meaning.
A Commitment to Transmission
Helping emerging filmmakers by offering guidance, directing them toward the right contacts, and simply sharing each person’s experience. Creating a group dynamic through meetings, seminars, and other events organized by the Diamont History Group Alliance Collective.
Participation in Meetings, Seminars, and Collective Events
This is an ideal opportunity to meet other members and make your voice heard. A collective operates through participatory democracy. Without involvement, there is no collective spirit—and the very notion of a collective loses its meaning. Moreover, gatherings encourage exchange and sharing within a positive, effective energy.

(Social networks / posters / flyers / brochures)
A web communication kit created for this purpose was to be provided to each new member starting January 2022.
Ethics and Compliance
Each member undertakes to respect the principles set out in the Charter of the Diamont History Group collective. In the event of a breach of this Charter’s standards of respect and ethics, we reserve the right to exclude any member who violates its fundamental rules, particularly where such behavior could harm the collective as a whole.
