Pitch
Fiona Edern has just died in a car accident. Rhian, 35, is devastated at her grave. A stranger approaches and promises that if Rhian crosses the Gate of Dante’s Cemetery—journeying through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise—he will be able to find his lost love again.
Will Rhian accept the offer of this devil of Maphomet?
And you—how far would you go for the person you love?
Synopsis
Dante’s Cemetery stands at the entrance of the village of Rhosneigr, on the island of Anglesey in Wales. An old legend speaks of a gate opening onto three worlds—where truth is shaped by profound romances torn apart by the death of one lover.
Fiona Edern has just died in a car accident. Rhian, 35, is shattered—haunted by guilt for not having accompanied her to work.
At Dante’s Cemetery, Rhian Lloyd watches the coffin descend into the grave. The funeral workers carefully arrange the many plants around the still-open plot… then they too disappear. After the exhausting ceremony and condolences, Rhian finds himself alone. The day begins to fade.
Seated on the cold marble of a nearby headstone, Rhian drifts into thought. Footsteps sound behind him. He turns and sees a man in a black trench coat and a matching hat shadowing his face. The stranger speaks, asking only this:
“If you were given the chance to find your lost love again—and to cross the Gate of Dante’s Cemetery, on a journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise—would you do it?”
And you—how far would you go for the person you love?
